Merlot
Served with refined mature cheese, pasta ala pesto Genovese, noble fish from Gradel, roasted duck breast, pork chops, steaks, tuna steaks, lamb chops, game, but also dark chocolate desserts.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Ideal with mature, strong cheese, pasta with four types of cheese, roast beef, roast lamb, roast veal, game, beefsteak tartar, plum or cherry strudel.
Syrah
Syrah goes best with soft cheeses, grilled dishes, especially pork chops or bluefish, game stew, roast beef, cured meat products (eg game sausages), forest fruit desserts.
Boutique
Such a complex, sumptuous sweet wine is ideal to pair with equally sumptuous desserts such as chocolate cakes, caramelized almonds, dark chocolate, but also traditional dishes such as pashticada.
